Rex and Beth McDermott purchased the ADM feed manufacturing facility in Atlantic in February of 2008. Rex and Beth have been in the cattle show ring their entire life. Now, with the help of their three children, they enjoy success in and out of the ring as a family.
They developed a line of show feeds that has fed champion after champion across the Midwest. One of Rex's lines is called "Purple Bound". Show and commercial breeding stock producers want their animals to exhibit a superior performance in and out of the ring. Rex has developed his own custom formula for each category of animal. The larger market being cattle, hogs and sheep, but, with the increased interest in goat production, comes a special formula for that animal. R & B Feeds blends a variety of high fat oils used in the feed industry that is marketed from gallon sized containers to bulk production. Bulk trucks come and go daily bringing in raw feed stuffs such as beet pulp, corn and soy oils, oats and flavoring such as caramel. Later leaving with the fresh product, some are fed locally and some to other states. R & B Feeds LLC, manufactures feeds for United Suppliers. Custom blended feed is also available.
